"Feel good" films

The three that come most immediately to mind are all sports films of a sort oddly enough:
Coach Carter
Remember The Titans
The Replacements

Well American sports at least, I'd not usually watch either basketball or American football normally given the choice so it's a bit strange that they feature as some of my favourite feel good films. If we're allowed films that just straight up give you more hope about the World then I'd have to nominate Casablanca and 12 Angry Men - they're not necessarily happy all the way through and a long way from the lightweight fluff of some of the other selections but damn it if I don't feel better for having watched them.

Dan in Real Life was one that instantly leaped up at me.
i've seen it a few times and probably wouldn't watch it again, but it's certainly one i'd recommend.

Nick and Nora's Infiniate Playlist is a nice little film too
as is ****ing Åmål

However, I really must add the comedy 'The Girl Next Door', which was way more heartfelt than the trailers might have you believe.
Definitely, the way Babba O'Reilly comes on is so feel-good it's just ridiculous.

I'd like to add & continue on the theme of Shawshank and Yes Man.

Lost in Translation? Seriously? It is the best film ever made, but feel good? It left me jealous and speechless. Part of me wanted the ending to not happen and it just fade to credits with him in the taxi looking all empty.
