I turned up for work today, my name wasn't on the list to work but I put that down to me being off last weekend and thought they'd just forgotten to put me back on.

However at 3.30pm (6 hours into my shift) my manager comes up to me and says i'm not meant to be in today as it's my xmas pro rata day or something! Nice of them to let me know! Also i have 45 minutes (woot!) off tomorrow so i get to start later; i wouldn't have known about this unless she'd have told me.

Looks like i may have lost my day off

That sucks

dosent sound like they are making it easy for you though, I would actually be angry at them.
