Feel like I'm getting old...

I'm 28 next week, and feeling pretty darn grumpy about it. Mainly because I'm the 'airy fairy' one of all my friends. They're all sorted with babies and marriage. I'm quite content without those things at the minute, but my family think otherwise

I sometimes have to seriously stop and think when anyone asks how old I am. I don't care much for any age related pigeon holing, I just do what I want and if my mind writes a cheque my body can't cash then I just know I either have to try harder or make smarter decisions.
I was asked my age for one of those telephone checks a while ago and I said 24, I was 26 at the time :o funnily enough I didn't fail the check as I said it so confidently. I do have to think what year I was born in order to work my age out sometimes.

I'm meant to be the smart person in the family......

23!! HA!!! If anyone is gets concerned about being old before they hit early 30's then they haven't done enough with their life.

I'm 29, will be 30 a few months and feel the same I did 12 years ago, age doesn't bother me. Until I start having age related health problem I have no control over THEN I will get worried.

Anyone else have random strong feelings towards starting some random new sport/hobby and should I just give in, buy a cheap £100 set of clubs and do it?

Sure, spend £100 to spoil a good walk. <\Spike Milligan>

I already watch tennis

Try playing. Better than golf (IMHO), cheaper (use council ran courts) and will get you very fit.
