I forgot to update this thread! I had a 2nd scan and a tumor marker blood test done 3 weeks ago.
Today was my appointment with the uroligist. It was very good news. The tumor marker blood test came back all within normal range, the 2nd ultrasound still showed up the same shadow, but on the day I had the 2nd scan the radioligist told me I had nothing to worry about and he really didn't think it was cancer or a tumor.
The uroligist said the same thing today pretty much, I do have an issue with the blood flow but it could have been caused by a knock or injury that's gone unoticed.
Bottom line he told me not to be worried about cancer etc. I've got to have another scan in 3 months just to keep an eye on things.
All in all, a massive weight off my mind!
And to Merlin5, well done for getting checked out mate. I don't think you have anything to worry about, from my knowledge mobile lumps are hardly ever cancer. Always best to follow up with an ultrasound though, just for piece of mind more than anything. You could be feeling a variocele.
I'm going to request for this thread to be closed now.
Cheers
