Feeling blue

Do you drink? I'm sure me and a few others would come and partake in an ocuk beerfest to cheer you up!

Last time I did that I ended up on the M8 at 3am thanks to the Glasgow lot. Endless fun :p

Time is money. You find that when you have loads of time you have no money, and when you have money, there's no time. You would have thought the harder you worked, the more you'd earn, but unfortunately the tax system takes most of your income.

Volunteer work.

I did in my spare time during my early twenties and in a similar situation as you.

Met people, gave me something to do, resulted in a career change too. :)

Change Company. Change Job. Change Career path. Start looking into local charity work (baking food for the homeless, learn things), get involved in youth work and learn/teach people valuble life lessons. Sell off stuff and have lots of money and go travel (on your own could be good, till you meet up with a group of other travellers).

You are young, like me, and have the potential to do a lot of things with your life.. Stop 'jerking off' turn the device off, walk outside and start thinking / planning the next steps of your life. If you are that bored at work it clearly isn't for you.

You know, I felt exactly the same as you, I advise you to take a lower paid role in a better company, give up constantly trying to have a big house, car, loads of new fancy stuff you don't need. And focus on the important aspects.

You've gotta make a living but provided you're getting by, anything else you can do without.

The world is a dreadful place unfortunately, do what you can to get by. Frugal living, you'd be surprised how little money you actually need.

Hi OP, welcome to being human.

You know, I felt exactly the same as you, I advise you to take a lower paid role in a better company, give up constantly trying to have a big house, car, loads of new fancy stuff you don't need. And focus on the important aspects.

Do this, report back in six months.

I worked in warehouses for 7 years with not too bad pay (£10p/h) I wasn't happy. I didn't make a difference to anyones life, or there wasn't really any career advancement to it. So I quit and now I work in a care home and I love it. The pay is just above minimum wage im more frugal with my spending and don't buy games and bluerays every week like I used to do.
Because of this job ive been put forward to do a nvq course hopefully which will start soon. Also ive been considering studying to be a nurse, which if you asked me before I started working in care I would have laughed at you.
As for outside of work hobbies about 3 months ago ive taken up piano lessons, which is something I would never of thought I would see myself doing.

Try something completely different, you might surprise yourself :)
