Ferrari 360 Vs Corsa

I just don't find that sort of thing amazing - everyone and his dog is doing the 'huge engine into clapped our Corsa wow now it goes fast' thing - it's still a Corsa and even though the Ferrari got beaten I know which I'd rather have been in.

True, the ferrari looks better, handles better etc.

But the corsa will slap a huge smile on your face EVERY time.

Exactly, someone who understands drag racing! :)

Why doesnt someone Mod up a a ferarri like that? Then you can compare the two cars but until then they are apples and pears. (corsa would be a bit of a lemon;))

Exactly, that corsa / nova is a one trick pony all it can do is go fast in a straight line..............

and in a straightline, only up until the brick like drag coefficient kills the top speed.
The simple fact is that the stripped out Corsa in question is probably a great car for a 1/4' mile, but what about handling, top speed, comfort and lastly, what will you pull better in?

love it when these sort of vids come up, you always get the 'know which one I would prefer' coment, totally forgetting about price???

Kinda obvious really isnt it? and totally misses the point of the car.

also the corsa's aint totally crap at handling, one at the last track day I went to done really well, probally beat half the cars people own in this thread :p

Whilst I know which car I'd obviously rather be in it doesn't make the Corsa any less impressive. I mean, I'm sure the fact that the Ferrari is superior in everything except drag racing means nothing to the Corsa driver. It may be that the Corsa is used only for drag racing, I know if I was going to do that sort of thing I'd start with a rubbish car and make it as fast as possible (without caring about top speed, handling, comfort etc)

Exactly. I'd rather have the Ferrari, sure. But I don't have a spare hundred odd grand kicking about to buy one.

If I had a choice of a Ferrari or that Nova - but couldn't afford the Ferrari... I'd choose to go carless rather than drive that Nova ;)

Sure it's impressive and quick... I just wouldn't want it.

only everytime you drag, as for normal road driving, i know which one would make me smile hell of a lot more :]

Bet the Corsa didn't even cost a tenth of the Ferrari......

In a race it would be a different story. Straight lines don't mean anything. You pay for the Ferrari because of what it can do on a track.

Looked very fixed to me. The Ferrari was slower of the line than a 50cc moped and like said before the driver was being extremely cautious.

The Corsa maybe be a boy racers wet dream but given the choice I would choose the Ferrari everytime even if I got smoked occasionaly in a straight line on a race track by a Corsa.
