I loved the Deltawing. Probubly my favourate race car ever. But the Deltawing project is pretty much doomed without Ben Bowlby and Nissan's backing, and the ZEOD project will be parked in a museum as soon as this years Le Mans is over.
It was such an exciting and fresh stace on modern racing. Its such a shame its been scuppered by Nissan looking for a quick PR win. And the Zeo Emissions thing really bugs me. They are only planning on doing 1 lap under electric power (which isn't zero emissions anyway, but lets not get into that ), the rest of the race will be in hybrid mode, something that's been at Le Mans for years.
But if it means Nissan come back in 2015 with a proper P1 car and take the fight to the growing P1 field then its a means to an end.
