Ferret question

Random question time. We found a ferret in our front garden where it was trying to get into our back garden. Not a good idea considering my 2 dogs would have had a whale of a time with it. Anyway we have called the RSPCA but realised we have no idea what ferrets eat as it looks like it has escaped from someone house and has been running free.

I think you can feed them cat food if you have any kicking about. Oh, they also like hard boiled eggs & cooked meat

How about dog biscuits? The fracking RSPCA are useless and we have no idea when they will turn up as it's not a priority :rolleyes:

I used to keep 2 ferrets I used to feed em that horrible mince from farmfoods , you know the stuff its about 50p for a 10kilo bag.

they loved it lol.

my mate recently got rid of his ferret, first he sold it to some girl it nibbled her on the face a bit so she bought it back two hours later!, then some ***** from the valleys (not saying all valley people are *****'s, but there are some proper ****** there!) banged on his door and straight away haggled him down to half price, he wanted it for rabbitting!

my mate used to feet it cat food iirc (dry stuff)

As others have said they will eat anything although maybe not lettice.
