Festivals?

Exit \o/ Don't really have the money for any others sadly, but that'll keep me happy. Meeting a few Serbians I got to know over in China and tacking a trip up to Ukraine on afterwards too.

Not too much released on the lineup yet, except Royksopp and the Chemical Brothers, both of which make me happy. Mika makes me..err..rather less happy, but I can avoid him easily enough.

Managed to miss out on getting a Ticket to Glasto this year, so desperately hoping that I manage to bag one once the tickets are re-issued. Considered doing Reading / Leeds, but decided against it due to some bad experiences a couple of years ago.

Glastonbury for me, will be my 2nd time there (not 2 years in a row though - went to Reading last year after being persuaded by some mates who were convinced it was the best...it's absolute rubbish, taking them to Glastonbury so they can 'see the light')

RE: World cup, the cinema field is showing any England world cup games that are on that week. :D

Its a different world. Reading and Leeds are for kids, theyre not proper festivals.. Theyre nowhere near. I went to Reading for 5-6 years in a row before going to Glastonbury.. The thought of Reading now is laughable. Its just a whole different experience. After that, I started trying all the different festivals.. I go to a lot, planning on doing the same as last year:

Glastonbury, Bestival, Secret Garden, Exit, Szieget and Glade.

Good times ahead.

For those thinking about Exit, its really good.. But nothing like an English festival. The site isnt 24 hour either, which was a bit of a shock.

T in the park for me. The download line up is pretty sweet this year aswell, it had to clash with my holiday though...

How much does it cost roughly to go to one the festivals in europe (travelling, tickets etc)? Tempted to do one next year.
