Who's been to festivals this year?

I'm off to Shambala in a few hours and can't wait. Work motivation at the moment is an an all time low :D

This is the first year of festivals in 3-4 years that there has been nothing consistently good on :(. Most have had the odd band maybe half a day of something id pay a bit to see, electric picnic in Ireland had Mogwai who are always worth seeing and were close to getting me excited, but there has been no line up's that make me want to get up and go.

Still Shambala looks like a good laugh! Any site that can get away with "smorgasbord" and put on a lot of bands iv never heard of looks like fun! :)

4th year for me at Shambles, it seems to get better each year. It's quite a low key event, although los albertos played there last year which was an unexpected treat - up to then I had been wanting to see them live for years :D

Bearded Theory, Wychwood, Womad and Beautiful Days this year (just like the last 4-5). All have been excellent (Except for the one night when there was thick frost on the tents at Bearded Theory) probably will knock Wychwood on the head next year though as it's just moving the wrong side of comerciallism in it's approach :(

Been to Leeds festival for the last two years and have been very lucky with the weather. Doesn't seem so good this time around though.

But partly due to (in my opinion) the shocking lineup we haven't bothered this year and went to the more civilised Edinburgh festival! ;)

Lovely place, tons of fun, plenty of attractive females... but don't want to check my bank balance.

Been to:

Sonosphere
Global gathering
V

Going to:
creamfields

Been quite a busy year if Ibiza (going again next month) is included!

If you like your dance festivals I suggest Nature One next year. It's an amazing experience. In an old cold war missile silo, the production levels are 100 times better than any dance festival in the UK !! Half the price too, even when you add flights etc in to the equation.

Download, Glastonbury and Global Gathering for me this year. Had I been able to get the time off I would have gone to Sonisphere and Leeds too.

I absolutely love music festivals!

I thought V was up the road from me (weston park)

Being the overhyped comercial nonsense chavfest that it is (in my opinion and my opinion being the only one that matters to me :p) it takes place over 2 sites in the country (Weston & Chelmsford) with the line ups for each day swaping over (ala the antisocialfest that is Reading and Leeds)

Went to 2000 Trees in Cheltenham and Big Chill in Eastnoore, both awesome.

Really want to do Glastonbury when it comes back in 2013 and before I'm 30 :|
