Festive Munch

Is this something you buy or make? Sounds good.

Make.

Just stick some sugar along with festive spices (eg, nutmeg, cloves, bay, vanilla, citrus zest etc) in a food processor, blitz it up, sieve it and toss fresh popcorn in it whilst it's still hot so it sticks.

I think I saw it on one of Jamie Oliver's Christmas programs a few years ago.

Edit - here it is, just make a huge batch of the sugar, will last forever and you can use it on loads of things - http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/vegetarian-recipes/spiced-sugar-aamp-christmas-popcorn

Cocktail sticks to shove mini sausages/ham/pineaples/pickles or whatever on.

Cocktail sauce & prawns. (maybe with lettuce).
or prawn ring.
breaded scampi to oven bake/deep fry
onion bhaji type snacks/mini samosas etc.
garlic baguette.
more twiglets.

Oh brilliant. I remember that episode now that you mention it. :)

I will give it a try over the holidays.
