Few computer hardware questions relating to raid 1 and the Logitech MX5000

Hey there!

The first question is will my shuttle (SB75G2) run raid1 with two sata hard drives?

I’ve got one Hitachi 160g and im thinking of purchasing another one, to hopefully run a mirror image so that I have a more backup safe computer, would this be the way, as well as backing up important data to DVD when needed?

*Recent shake up after loosing my hard drive and having only a backup from 1 year ago... sucks*

Also the next question is what are these problems with the Logitech MX 5000 Bluetooth keyboard and mouse set? I’ve looked on the forums but some of the posts are quite old, were they software problems? Have they been resolved? I know the lag is due the Bluetooth receiver but mine will be no more 20cm away from my keyboard and mouse.

Just need some more information on these two queries because I make my purchases.

Any help would be much appreciated.

If you want bluetooth I'd think about a Microsoft one. Bluetooth is a microsoft invention.
 
the mx5000 does lag, but very very rarely and its usually when youve got plenty of apps open, as for the software, its ok and i havent experianced any issues as of yet(6 months use), but you dont have to use it if you dont wish...
 
Hey! Yeah i found about the raid 1! Thats great, im ordering another harddrive today, the same one and ill let you know how it goes. Hopefully that will keep me a little safer!

Really undecided about the mouse and keyboard combo. Ive had the "Logitech Cordless MX Duo Keyboard and Optical Mouse Set" for years now, and its been perfect, its just battered and i fancy a change. The microsoft bluetooth set looks pretty appealing and well priced. Just love the MX1000 mouse ;)

Ive ordered the Sennheiser PC160 Headphones :D They look great..

And a "Philips Philishave QT4040 TurboVac Beard Trimmer" i know thats off topic but i get excited when i order stuff :)

Just noticed the MX3100, seems there no problems mentioned with this combo, is this still available to buy? Looks like just what i want. :p
