Few desire questions

Hi all, just got my Desire from Phones4u on vodafone

Got a few random apps included, am i best off starting a factory reset? or will that leave me with the random apps included?

Whats all the differences between the versions everybody runs? Im at 2.2 as of just updating now.

Chances are the phone as you have it it fresh from a factory reset anyway.
