Few Installation Q's Please

Hi all,

I managed to find a new Seagate 320gb 7200.10 16mb SATA II drive for 55 quid deliverd with pink glue which will arrive soon but have a few q's.

When I do a reinstall of Windowsm if I only select my other drive to install windows onto will everything be safe on the larger drive (when there is data on it)? I.e nothing will get deleted with the reinstall?

Also, do I just connect the new drive and it should automatically be displayed - no need of drivers etc?

your thoughts are correct, nothing will get deleted, the drive will install itself.

EDIT: Now I have a question for you... pink glue?

He means the glue blob under the motor area, pink glued drives are reportedly quieter than the blue/green/white glued versions.

Their point of origin is different, and so is the motor used i think.
