Few queries

A. Say if you knew your CPU would clock to 3GHz for sure, can you just put it 3GHz in one go or do you HAVE to increase it in small bits?

B. Kinda same with GPU, can I just say increase the clock, shader and memory MHz by 100 and see if it takes it? or could that damage it?

A. Yes but you would have to know voltage settings and other bios settings you would need. As you don't know if you are going to do this please test for stability for a long time (8 to 24 hours) making sure to test all cores with small tests.

B. You can kill a graphics card very easily clocking it. Temps kill stuff.
