Few questions about Raid

Would I see a great improvement in speed if I had two Raptors in RAID? I don't know much about RAID, please advise, I use my PC for games.

If you stick the drives in a Raid 0 array, then yes you will improve the performance. However you are also doubling the chance of data corruption or hard disk failure. Since if one of the hdd's dies, you lose everything.

You should also look towards a proper hardware raid card, rather than using any onboard controllers.

For non parity based RAID arrays (0,1,10,0+1) onboard controllers are more than adequate.
