Few questions

Heya guys, got a couple of questions for you.

1: Since installing my new graphics card (6950 2gb) and playing games on max (including minecraft lol) I keep getting "out of memory, closing programs" when only using about 1.5-2gb of physical memory.

2: I currently have 4gb of Corsair XMS 7-8-7-20 1600mhz. Worth getting another 2x 2gb and running all four sticks at 9-10-9-24 1600mhz? Or just attempting to sell my current sticks and getting 2x 4gb?

I have the same problem. (Except I only have 2gb of ram)

If it is just happening in Minecraft it is best ignoring it as Minecraft is a very badly programmed game anyway.

Happened in Crysis2 on ultra, minecraft and now Civ5 on full graphics.

Are you running 64bit windows?

Yup, turned out my "system managed" page file had been set to 4mb...

Still wanting to know about the memory, should I get 2x2gb or sell my current ram and get 2x 4gb?
