Like I said, I seriously doubt it's Firefox-related. You could always install 3.0.11 and try it with a different profile.

Exactly the same happens with me.

I had the problem with v3.0.11. Reinstalling FF and Flash etc, new profiles, whatever, didn't work at all so I finally gave up and would just use IE if I wanted to listen to something..

I got back from a weeks holiday last Thursday, and strangely, when I came to use my computer again, the sound worked fine!

"GREAT!" I thought... "Lets upgrade to v3.5".

But no...

The sound has decided to cease working again.

Try Opera

Gutted that Youtube's banner for better browser upgrades didn't feature Opera, it's awesome (Once you turn off the homo default skin). Now with dragonfly, there's almost no need for Firefox anymore...

LOL I feel such a twonk.

My excuse is that Firefox only shows up in the mixer if it is producing sound. So I never noticed.
