FF and AdblockPlus

a good one is the radiotimes website. i was thinking why the fudge is that banner at the top so huge. then i happened to come across the site in another browser and realised it was a spacer for ads... :p

and neowin is another good one too. i took these screenshots a few weeks back when safari came out to compare it against firefox....

I know what you mean marc2003. I've taken to using Stylish, the extension for Firefox to sort out Lifehacker.com and ITV-F1.com. The ads and ad spacing on some sites I use are criminal. :(

lol

this should be stickied

all IE users (and some opera users) should test this combo out

adblock plus with the easylist + easyelement subscriptions leads to really clean browsing :)

i manually adblock the ocuk logo and the advert in the top right, so you get a lot more forum space without having to scroll down at all :)

well i'll be damned, i've been using filterset.g updater with adblock plus for ages, just swapped over to the lists suggested here and it really is quite significantly more responsive, i feel like quite the fool now :/

Just tried installing this on my brother laptop, 'EasyElement+EasyList' and iam getting this message

FF doesnt know how to open this address, because this protocol (abp) isnt associated with any program.

edit sorted, install adblock which was why it didnt work :o
