Ffs /morning rant

Guy turns up to pick my car up at 8am (who the **** is up and about at 8am?, jesus 0_0 ), he's doing some MOT welding. Battery has somehow gone flat in the space of a day, then the alarm stays on for 20 mins while we find jump leads. Then the car starts, yippee, no.. Wait, there's petrol all over the drive, that's not right.
Turn engine off, alarm starts (alarm remains constant after this point), guy gets covered in petrol, takes it well , guy fetches a friend with a view to towing, no dice, towing eye has snapped off in the hole. He's off to find a recovery truck, today's going to be expensive . I was half hoping it would catch alight on the drive .

i am! i love it when im making a delivery and have to wake the poor buggers up.

I was up at 4:30am this morning and out to work at 5:10am I finish at 2pm though

e36 328i of doom. Failed the MOT on some welding, a balljoint and parking brake effort. Doing the other bits this weekend and the welding's not costing much. Major problem with the car is bore wear (Nakasil), still making decent compression though so rather than sell it for nowt I'm going to MOT it, strip it, dump it in the garage and rag it around a track until it eventually gives up . You people get up too early.
