FFS :@ - will this T-cut?

I got very similer things out of the Mini using T-cut...don't see what this forum has against it.
A lot of forums are the same, and it's probably because it hasn't got a fancy name on it, and it makes me wonder how many of these people have actually used it, instead of just regurgitating the comments of others (as happens a lot). Sure there are lots of products about nowadays that can do a better job of specific tasks, but you can't beat good old T-Cut as an all rounder. Our valet and smart repair teams buy this in by the gallon, and hell even I use it from time to time, even though I've got a full range of the very best paint rectification products available from Farecla, Mirka, and 3M in my cupboards.

I'll pick up some T-cut tomorrow or Monday.

Do proximity alarms work when cars get too close? (within ~0.5-1ft?)

The sort of person who manages to do that wouldn't even realise that the proximity alarm was going off! :(

Enjoy the T-cut, apparently the most amazing stuff for this kind of thing, yes I have tried it and got a bottle sitting in my garage and no I don't rate it very much at all.

Think it needs a louder alarm then. :p Not point doing it on this car but my next one I need to do something to try and stop this from happening.

I'll give it a go anyway. Was going to get some to try on a couple of stone chips the car had before I got it.

A couple of hours of Tcutting and effort I get this:

Not going to get it any better, will probably be harder to see with a months worth of dirt on...

I think one of my neighbours did it on Thursday. I remembered I parked on the opposite side of the road all of Friday.

Looks much better. Is that a focus? the bumper on mine was hard as hell to do when someone did basically the same to mine, did'nt bother too much as crap happens unfortunately :(

Yes it is a focus. Crap happens, but I want to avoid it in future. For now I would like to remove the evidence.

Think another day of Tcut might do it with some stone chip paint for where it is down to the primer? Anyone recommend any good touch up paint?

Need to get some good pics of my car while it is this shiny. :p

If you can get the T-cut with the little colouring stick for your colour, use a bit of that then t-cut over it, lots of rubbing and then a nice wax got all but the heavy key mark (about 5cm long) from my mini, and made that a lot less noticable.

This is the T-cut I used: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_380963_langId_-1_categoryId_165527

The scratches you can see are where the lacquer is scratched. where would I get the colouring stick one from? Halfords do not have it and a quick google isn't showing much unless it is the one I linked to?

My step dad picked it up for me, it's a bigger bottle than that and is a liquid (that one looks like a paste tube?) and in the handle on the side is a lipstick like crayon of colour.

That's T-Cut colour restorer, I've always found it fairly crap tbh.
