Dunno, but you can plug anything in to the PS4 controller. When my Astros went pop I simoly plugged in a pair of cans I had at home and they worked a treat.
As for never playing online, doesn't matter, as long as you've done the first few campaign missions. You don't need any vehicles or money, and we all race in the same vehicles.
