Nothing, that's coming with me. This is to replace the Mondeo :)

Is the 205 all finished out of interest?

I personally would go for the Imp, seems a bit more scope there, also looks cool.

Does it not make sense to have a car that you can rely on AND a project toy rather than just.. two project toys?

Depends if it is needed for going to work with I would guess.

Yes, but I'm uttery utterly bored of the Mondeo.

205 motor is currently half done, I've taken the crank, rods, pistons and liners out of the old broken block and just need to paint the new block. Ready to slot in to replace my smokey old 1.6 after that :)

EDIT

New job is 4-5 miles and I can cycle it if I need to (been looking at those cheap chinese scooters too)

Fox - daily driver projects are doable.

That orange Kadett I've posted numerous times has been used as a daily driver to commute (including 70-odd miles each way a couple of times a week) since it's inception; removal of body trim, smoothing of trim holes, replacement of rear axle, engine modifications, fitment of rear turrets, fitment of rear top links for the axle (necessitating big holes in the floorpan for the boxes they fit to), stripping of the interior, having the dash flocked, fitting a cage, fitting race seat and harness, respraying the car...It's still been a daily driver.

Ooo he has done more to the Kadett now then? Before the interior was intact.

Hate you Lopez. :( :p Got me looking at Imps.

It's had no rear seat, an MR2 (I think) passenger seat and an uber-lightweight Kevlar seat for the driver for some time now.

On second thoughts, I don't think the cage is in yet...

PS: He's building a 1600 Zetec-SE with full aftermarket ECU, mapping, LOADS of sensors, supercharger, chargecooler...

Kate likes the Viva best and at the moment I'm inclined to agree, although it isn't as quirky as an Imp/126.

I think it will hinge more on "what affordable base car turns up first" than anything.

HB or HC, coke bottle body. The HA is older than I want to consider although I like the uncluttered lines.

Good idea. Get a Viva, Remove front disk brakes and other useful bits. Then your ready for when you get the Imp. :p
