I love the way that the BBC says that it's been a drain on the commercial vehicle side of things. Don't they mean the Italian taxpayer? Haven't they been bailing out FIAT for years?

If Fiat don't use the money from GM wisely then it's not going to be too long before they drop off the scene.

Yeah but what differs the Italian public to ours is they actually buy Fiats. More than can be said for own dead horse Rover. Also when you talk about tax payers money look at Renault and Peugeot that are still French public owned. Also The British tax payer did it's fair share proping up Rover over the last 30 years.
