Fiesta door

Some idiot drove into the passenger front door of my Fiesta when it was parked and did not leave a note.

Looks like I will have to sort out myself sadly. The damage is limited to the door shell (insides work fine, mirror fine, wing fine etc).

How much do you think a new door (excluding mirror, trims etc) will cost plus painting?

Depends on how big the dent is and if paintwork has been scratched

i'm going to put a wild guess at 300-400 from a backstreet bodyshop

Claim from your insurance? Obviously you want to avoid this, but if the repairs are astronomical then the insurance should serve its purpose.

Don't want to claim if it is small so it doesnt effect my NCD or future insurance.

Here are pics - there is no paintwork damage, all that stain you see is 400 miles of driving back home yesterday from Scotland

nasty crease which is a shame. i'd say try and pull it out, but thats a bit misshapen.

try breakers for another door. could pot luck one in the same colour (I did three months ago).
