Fiesta mk4 sensor question...

Speed sensor or reverse sensor?

How about telling us the symptoms rather than playing "guess the problem"?
 
Reverse light switch????? nah

Thats the bottom of the engine, picture taken from the pasengers side on front of the wheel under the front bumper...

Engine warning light thing came on... and looking for possible faults before I shell out for diagnosis...
 
Looks a lot like a gearbox to me. What led you to that sensor in particular, instead of the many others in the car? :confused:
 
only one with the whole cable dangling freely, and with the sheath pulled back to expose the wires underneath...

Any others I should check again? Think I got all of them...
 
Looks fine to me.

You cant test sensors visually, and there's nothing to say its even a sensor at fault. Are there any problems other than the EM light?

In my Mondeo you can get fault codes from the trip computer, dont know if you can do something similar with that..
 
Nah you actually have to plug in a diagnostic computer for a fiesta....

All the other sensors look visually fine....

Trip to ford I think :(
 
No need to take it to a main dealer, any friendly backstreet garage will probably plug it in for a minimal charge
