Friends for stolen, watched the video he had of it being stolen. In through the boot, cut the steering wheel to get the lock off. Must've been less than 5 minutes.

Quite common for people to disable the boot handle on them because of this, loads of people remove the odb port etc too. Sadly very very easy to steal.

For some reason going via the boot doesn't trigger the alarm.

i think our c max is the same i can use the remote to open the tailgate without unlocking the car and not set the alarm offhmm

You can remove the wiring, it's common on the fiesta, I would've done it if id kept it along with an odb removal/relocation.

We had our 2015 Fiesta stolen a few years ago, car was worth £6k, they smashed our gates which cost £5k to fix.

The police found the car 3 or 4 months later, The insurance had not paid out so they give the car back lol.
