I'd be very surprised if they are all identical with different maps.
so, despite closeness of power/torque on original ford figures, there are no internal gymnastics on the engines - like bmw
european legislation needs to start punishing manufacturers who don't offer resilient methods to detect/prevent/legally-report remaps/tuning-boxes, being hidden from next owner, to me, re-maps are pretty much an indication of how the car gets treated - one careful lady owner.so the stock map on the 125/140bhp limits torque in 1st and 2nd gear
It’s in Chesterfield, yeah he’s got a rolling roadProper rolling road ones?. South side of Derby.
Our 1.0l 99ps fiesta has a six speed gearbox so you are correct..On the Focus the 100bhp ecoboost was paired with a 5 speed gearbox rather than the 6 speed (that can handle more torque) that the 125/140 got. The Mk7 Fiesta only ever got the 5 speed gearbox, so the stock map on the 125/140bhp limits torque in 1st and 2nd gear, but looks like the MK8 Fiesta got the 6 Speed.
Pumaspeed suggest that the turbos are identical across the range, and also offer replacement "crate engines" which are sold as universal:

They also offer plug in maps ~160bhp

Have you still got the bluefin as it probably can be reprogrammed...She has a 6 speed manual.
I believe that the 125 hp version has a different turbo to the 100hp version.
The 140 has other modifications too.
All 3 variants remap to different power levels.
I am still leaning towards the Superchips remap. I had a Bluefin with my Focus but she doesn't seem interested in it for another £150.
Sadly not. Sold it on eBay when the car went 6 years ago.Have you still got the bluefin as it probably can be reprogrammed...
