Ah, that could be down to your NAT settings on your router? Go back to the dash, system settings and do a Xbox Live test. See if your Nat is set to Strict.

So yes, a worthy input to the thread. Don't get me wrong - it's a great game. I just don't understand how every team in the football league has a free-kick specialist.

Well I suppose if your going to give away so many freekicks it;s bound to happen you most games! I don't give many that way probably why I haven't experienced this.

Ditto. If it were a flaw of the game I would expect the ai to be at it as well and they aren't.

I seem to have gone into freescoring mode after changing that. Other half (who's actually quite good) scored a belter with Drogba as well.

I would have thought shooting assistance would help - it turns out the AI just completely bums up your shots. :/
