FIFA 09 controller problems

I'm playing Manager mode on Fifa 09 and using a Logitech Rumblepad 2. Problem is though that after a minute or two in game the sprint button decides to stop working!!! It's damn annoying as I can't outrun defenders or chace down attackers.

I have tried two different controllers and the problem is there with both - it works after kick off and I can sprint without a problem, but then after a few minutes of play it all goes pete tongue!!!!!!!!

HELP!

I haven't did any research of any kind, but the game is buggy as hell. You may just have some faulty peripherals there, but in regards to controller problems, assigning keys properly is a pain in the arse with my 3rd party PS2 controllers.

I'd get the latest patch and keep your fingers crossed mate. You aren't alone.

Ah so it's not just me then. Is there a patch out yet as I have looked around but can't find one?

Is there? Do you have a link as the official Fifa one took about ten seconds to install and only mentioned fixes to online play in EU!
