Another mixed bag from myself last night, got some good passes/crosses and two nice corners in but also made some dodgy through balls and was running into the opposition far too much.

Being a relative FiFA noob I think I just need some more play time and my guy could do with being stronger.

On a side note, I know I can unlock stats playing my VP in be a pro mode, but i hear manager mode is the same. Do I need to be in control of my guy to get accomplishments in Manager mode, or does the stuff the computer does when not in control of him count too?
 
Has to be your guy. I prefer BAP as no worries about getting tired after each match and when you are captain you can make sure youre in the best position...

Manager mode is good for getting accomplishments but you do have to be in control of your player to unlock things.

You can also do normal exhibition matches and just keep doing "rematch" once you've finished a game.

Just keep popping into the accomplishments menu to see what you need to unlock.

Yeah but the other thing is, your running about with a 80 stat VP against some paraplegic defenders!
 
In my BAP game I signed for Man City in the second season, it really helped with crossing as other players were good enough to finish. Games against low opposition are good to start you off though!
 
As I was saying to Pseudo the other day, I quite like Bayer Leverkusen's kit. I don't mind what we play as, but Bap, please not that horrific Palermo kit that we used in the 360 version. :(

I have a Keysonic ACK-3400 mini BT keyboard and love it and would recommend it,though I can't comment on the official keypad though so i'll leave that to ps3ud0.

By the way, I just use a wired keyboard. My PS3 is on a computer desk so I sit in the chair and play with a wireless pad but when I wanna type something I just pull the desk drawer out and type using that. Although if yours is in a living room, or bedroom or something I'd just get a cheap Microsoft wireless jobby for a few quid. :)

I'll be getting the official headset when I can actually get out of my parking space too.

I'm liking that River Plate. Very nice kit there, I wasn't sure on the white with that red stripe at first, it looked a bit out of place but it's grown on me now. :)

I'm going to check out some others too. A good way of doing it in case nobody knew:

Go and edit your VP and it let's you choose which team you want them to appear for by default. Cycling through them puts the strip of that team on your dude so you can see how the kits would look in game. Everyone probably knew that but it's a nice little thing to do if you're bored. :)

Its more than adequate though I do make a lot of spelling mistakes typing quickly as the keys are pretty small. For the usage and if you are in front of the TV the size of the keyboard is its advantage - tis tiny.

Just please dont attach it to the controller :p

Only shows the home kit though :(. Though HTK can check if the socks are not matching now :p
