***FIFA 10 - PS3 10v10 Clubs***

Hey lads sorry about last night, I popped away for a break for a few minutes and when I came back I couldn't get on the net at all, not sure what was up but it seems to have sorted it's self now. I won't be on tonight but I will be on tomorrow evening for some games, and definitely cannot wait for Red Dead Redemption, can't wait to get a club posse started up on that although we need to start thinking of names for it, be creative. :p

I heard that OMS came on last night as well for some games, good stuff and the more regulars we get the better and easier it is to have games most nights when maybe the usual suspects aren't around. :)

Anyway, enough waffling, I'll be on tomorrow for some club or some U2 or both, I'm easy. Catch you all tomorrow.
 
OMS seemed a bit card friendly :p - think he was a bit frustrated...

You missed a decent FK from me - 42yarder :p. Thought we did well but through being tired and poor CPU defence the last few games were forgettable...

Yeah sorry about that! By the end of it there wasn't much else to do.

I really enjoyed the first couple of games we played last night, seemed to have a decent flow to them. I struggle because my VP doesn't have the pace/stamina to match some of the other players. I'm more of a 1v1 player so I don't get the chance to build my stats up that much.

It's really hard going between 1v1 and clubs though, the game mechanics are subtlely different but it's a PITA sometimes! It's impossible to go past a man in clubs which drives me mental, and the number of cut back goals you concede.
 
Don't worry, about it. Just keep on playing with us and if you prefer 1v1 then maybe you should try your hand at the ANY slot, suits other 1v1 players like Beenom the only issue is that a lot of the time we end up being stuck with absolutely shocking generic players. Definitely something that needs to be fixed in Fifa 11, either by going back to having the Fifa 09 system of playing with real life clubs players but with our Vp's added to the squad, or having some sort of system where all generics are rated at 75 OVR or so, to at least make them useful.
 
Just watch me ;). Comms help a lot - either to share the frustration or just to chat etc - we dont seem to use it to help in game :p

Seriously though try and get your VP up (think its 79 overall) - it at least removes the frustrating of getting pushed off/outplayed by VPs that are in the 90s...

I like it too but only when I get given semi useful players. There's nothing more frustrating than the feeling of letting your team down purely because the players you get given can't sprint, pass, tackle or dribble the ball.

True that. Comms help a lot, before I had a mic I just assumed that every time I lost the ball or messed up people were mad, but after getting comms it's usually just poly taking the **** :p

Sorry lads just had enough of club tonight, totally fed up with it at the moment, we seem to lose games not based on our performance but based on either the CPU performance or the fact we have control of generics who lack the stats to perform basic tasks such as pass more than 10 yards or win a header.

On a change of subject what do the regs think our Posse name in Red Dead should be?
