**FIFA 13 Ultimate Team League (360)**

Cambsgooner 1 - 7 Gilbertttt
Gilbertttt 2 - 1 Cambsgooner

First game was pretty much one sided, shot after shot trying to score some screamers, second game think I was overconfident and last 10/15 minutes of pressure at 1-1 ended up me being with 9 men with two mis timed tackles. Two good games, would say I was on top both games but still second game gave me a good run for my money! Take it your an Arsenal fan ey! :p

Just read up the read, Had a few things that came up as it's easter time which I didn't take into consideration when joining the league not purposely. Many apologies

Gotta say i haven't enjoyed any of the league games so far. 90% of goals have been from long through balls to people i couldn't get anywhere near. I just lose interest after 4 identi kit goals every game. Wouldn't be so bad if occassionaly i could string more than 2 passes together. It just seems like am at a msssive disadvantage every game so i'm either shockingly bad or have a crap team or a combination of both. Whenever i play the standard league i never get battered like this.
 
Uh only two games played tonight. It's hard to decide what to do other than give wins each to the guys who haven't played ten games (who haven't played each other yet)

A week to play ten games ask a big ask really.
 
if they get in to contact soon and make themselves freely available for the week it should be okay? Give it until Monday night? Can always give everyone free wins after the event but there's no point kicking people who want to be involved just because real life stuff prevented them from playing last week?

In honesty, and saing it purely from an obervant, neutral POV, and one that has been in all but 1 of the Tournies since Fifa 08, lose the deadwood for this one, or otherwise we end up with people with a load of games to play in the last week, who didn't put the time in over week 1, and will then be whining if people can't make their play times in week 2, its the same its always been :(

Nothing personal to anyone involved, but if the deadlines are set and people know them, there is just no point in having them if they are switched & bypassed.

Hardly talking blacklisting from future events, just this one for not adhering simple rules of hours of gameplay from 168 hours in a week.

understand what your saying here tim but that 168 hours can soon be eaten up with real life stuff.


my problem was i didnt realise my xbox live ran out and had to wait until i got paid thursday to buy another.

after that i made myself available for matches and played you and hilly late fri night

i then posted here and made myself available all day saturday switching on xbox every hour or so

in that whole day only one person replied and when i went on they were gone

so not everyone has been lazy playing some people just have not been able to complete there games due to others not making the effort.

i am around all day today and if someone gives me a time they want to play ill be there.

I know you were late entering Jonny so you maybe excused missing the deadline by a couple of games or so. I really hate the excuse of 'real life stuff' though, I appreciate people have lives, but if they can't commit to the games, don't enter! I get tired of saying that :p

I work all day and have a small child but could still spare 40 minutes a day to get two games complete ;)

Anyway, happy easter everyone. I'm sure no one is at work so can get some games done between chocolate and beer ;)

lol yeah i know what you mean i do 65 hours a week have 3 kids and have to share the big tv with the wife so i can usually forget playing when its eastenders,corrie or emmerdale :D

I wish I've worked 23 hours the last 2 days and have a further 20 hours to work today and tomorrow :(

That first match was a goals galore! :eek:
Although at the end it felt as if the players were running on mud, felt kind of heavy.

GGs mate, second game I took my chances well but near the end I thought a comeback was on.

PS. dat front line :eek:

Just need to play Andy,uta and Biz now then thats me done :D

Yeah GGs Jony shame that I am very 1 dimensional, now might be the time that I finally come away from 5atb and try something a little more productive. All was well for the first 30mins then it was all downhill from there.
 
Yeah, quite predictable where your passes will, go except those lob through balls to your forwards :mad:

When I saw you played 5atb with those 3 up top I died a little inside :(

the 1pm slot went out the window as the wife kindly informed me she had to go work for a few hours and i had to cook the easter sunday dinner for 5 with all the trimmings ffs done now though
