FIFA 14 Thread

Will be up for a game with you guys this evening! My first Fifa since 2011 so I'll be rather rusty. Is UT what everyone plays online? I only played single player on '11 on xbox so have no idea how it works yet.

Take the weekend to get used to it mate, happy to play some friendlies with you if you fancy.

I had this at first.. I using AMD so this might not work for you but worth a try.

First Fifa settings You using 60hz monitor Then set the frame rate to max 60fps "120hz" set unlimited
Dont use games vsync

Now in your graphics settings use adaptive vsync "Dynamic vsync AMD"

Game should now have zero stutter "hopefully"

Cheers, will give that a go.

Do you force AA or anything? Just leave that?
 
Yeah definitely use vsync in fifa, the game has been known to damage cards by allowing itself to run at stupid fps in menus like 600-1000 frames when uncapped, which works the cards a lot harder and the heat goes through the roof.

It's one of the games you'll notice coil whine on a lot if you leave it uncapped.
 
Installing mine right now - can't wait! :cool:

I thought the demo was very, very good and was quite happy with most of the changes. If the full game is further improved from the demo, then I'm definitely going to be glued to it for a while!

Yeah, I always use Vsync anyway because I absolutely hate tearing.

Just that strange stutter.

My hunch is that it's related to sound somehow, but there aren't any newer official drivers for the Xonar DGX. :-(

I was having exact same problem and we have almost identical rigs apart from i have 690gtx and not a titan, I fixed it by updating to latest nvidia drivers so try that. edit: just noticed you have probably tried them....just an idea in fifa 13 i had same problem but fixed it by disabling windows aero theme in fifa 14 options.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm so weak.....bought it, can't do with out a football game in my life, and couldn't wait :( Add me on origin people playing clubs this year: MrBi0s (that's a zero instead of the letter o)
