FIFA 14 Thread

Ok thanks, I take it I do it like this:
- Connect to proxy
- Go to Origin and add FIFA to basket
- Log in to Origin account
- Disconnect from proxy
- Sign in with PayPal
- Purchase
?????

Well I actually got it from a Brazilian website, switched on proxy and created account and added game and went to paypal and finish payment. Go back on to the website and got the game key. Turn off proxy and redeem the key thorugh Origin. can PM u the links if u want.

I don't get this, it's the first FIFA I've played online and I don't really get how it's meant to work. I'm obviously being incredibly thick, but I can't seem to just set up a 1 v 1?

Seasons mode mate. Or you can do unranked H2H on the " More " section I think. :)

FIFA 14 finally installed, load it up and it quits to desktop just after the Messi front screen. Grrrrrrr

Got this again. I'm so tired of PC gaming, it's a tedious experience.

I had to format my machine so downloaded FIFA on my laptop in a house with a fast connection, moved the folder to my PC, Origin kept wanting it to download from 57% Let it finish and again loading up FIFA it will quit to desktop after the Messi screen. Tried all fixes to no avail.

Last try is to download from 0% on the PC I want it on, see if that fixes it.

Roll on the Xbox One...

Ah you see the issue you're seeing there isn't "PC Gaming" it's "EA Gaming" with over 250 games spread across steam and origin i can happily say that excluding the games which are beta or alpha (such as prison architect) the ONLY games i ever get issues with are made by EA.

Random crashes, failing to load, stupidly large patches. It's all because they release games in a beta state and then patch it up afterwards rather than properly testing things beforehand......or in the case of EA sports, they patch it once and then drop it entirely and start making next years cash cow.

I don't play many games but BF3, FIFA 14 and Ghosts have all been a bit of a nightmare in my short PC gaming life.

EA, EA and the other cash cow of a generation (COD).

I swear it was the COD series that began the PC revolution of prices above £30, before COD4 I'm sure it was incredibly rare to see a game for PC cost more than £29.99, but ever since everything seems to go up for £35-40 as a matter of course now. (and in a similar turn of events i see all these PS4 and XBONE games are all £45-50 now when they used to be £39.99!)

No sweat. Just wait 6-12 months and pick them up for under a tenner. Drivers will fixed by then too. If they are EA games can just download. lol

Certainly the creators of cod have never heard of the term "under a tenner" even COD1 + expansions still costs £15 on steam each, which is freaking crazy considering MOHAA was a much much better game and out at the same time, that now costs £5-6 as you'd expect.

EA to be fair get there in the end with their prices drops, but they release games like BF4 with sooo much content you have to pay for as DLC when it should have been in the full game already. Expansions and DLC are where EA rip everyone off and then never reduce prices on it.

This is exactly why I do not buy EA games, Activision and Ubisoft. Best part is I don't miss out either :)

Many other games and companies out there which deserve my cash and support. My steam library is approaching 300 :D

Game sounds good, how good is it? I've skipped the last couple of FIFA's because they tend to be a bit samey sometimes.

Well if your coming from FIFA 10, this'll be feel hugely different.

It's a lot more refined than the previous versions.

Attacking is more fluid, movments are more precise and shooting is less hit and miss (pun) .:)

FUT is also MUCH better. :)
