Hate football, love FIFA. I just wish I was as good now as I was a few years ago.

Fifa 14 preorder

Hi guys

Been thinking of doing the above after seeing on origin on pc d/l 39.99 for standard or 49.99 for ultimate ( 24 gold fut packs and some dl content the only diff I can tell ).

Is ultimate worth it for these fut packs ? or stick with standard .

I play fifa 13 but with my son on his 360 mainly friendlys but he plays a lot ultimate team so might give it a go so what you reckon standard or ultimate ?

Won't be buying 14 on PC as they aren't using the new engine like they are for the new consoles.

Same here.. at most I might buy it if it goes on offer but damned if I will pay full price seeing as EA are screwing PC players again..

Aint paying for the same game again with some different coloured shirts. Didn't plan to buy on console so I'll give this season a miss.

PS4 and X1 will be getting the new Ignite engine, PC PS3 and 360 will have the same engine as fifa 13 with minor modifications no doubt.

This year is all about PES.

Gonna give football games a miss this time round.. FIFA will just be a paint job and PES is just to arcadey for me..

ive gone off Fifa. I prefer PES now. Also, on pc it is very easy to get all the correct names and teams with mods.

after more reading decided to not bother with 14 but did get a cheapo fifa 13 code of the bay for £11 bargain I thought

For the sake of £30 more I'd much rather get the latest version. I pretty much only play online, so I'd want the version with the most active players.

The Dev confirmed after E3 that the PC will not be using the ignite engine on Fifa14, only consoles will use it.

PC's probably don't meet the requirements or something.
