FIFA 14 Thread

I bought 7 keys from CJS keys now in a couple months. Never had any problem with them tbh. Dunno what all the fuzz is about

I use them as well, but you still see the odd post on their facebook page complaining.

It's improved massively since last year though so that's why you won't have seen an issue.

How are EA's reskinned releases effecting Konami making decent playable online modes? £25 is a bargain for the hours ill play it. Go make some PES skin mods :)

Where did I even suggest I'd be arsed with PES either? I'll not bother if you're going fan boy mode lmao

It isn't re-skinned at all, I'm one of the cynics who thought it would be as well due to next gen consoles, the game feels totally different.

Of course it feels different, they all did even when not giving it a new engine, whether it being buffing normal shots to be the go to finish or finesse shots, they fiddle with plenty and give it a fresh feel, but holding back features that another platform receives doesn't sit right with me.

I'll still get it on next gen and looking forward to it, just don't plan on funding PC whilst its an afterthought.

Iv been playing some unranked online matches, and no matter if i win or lose, the game tells me this in the news feed after a game "you just played a seasons match and disconnected". I haven't disconnected at all yet, anyone else who is playing right now getting this?

If we have fun playing the game and there are bigger and better improvements why not buy it? old engine or not it's still a very enjoyable game and not everyone can afford to get it on the new xbox/ps

Why did people buy this, just going to show EA they think its fine giving us a lower effort version, awesome

Appreciate the feeling but it's a flawed argument imo. A noticeable reduction in sales for the PC version only has one outcome, and that is no more PC versions.

I believe the last two iterations have been different enough to warrant the £25 odd quid that each has cost me, and I get tremendous pleasure out of playing the game so it's a no-brainer. I did consider buying it on the PS3 but decided to stick with PC.

Next gen console is not on the radar for me, at least not until they both pass the inevitable launch problems and we see which one performs best/offers most.

Make sure Fifa is preloaded first, then exit Origin, then connect to a US VPN, while connected load up Origin and then Fifa should be unlocked and ready to play.

Disconnect and close the VPN software, but don't close Origin. If you close Origin, Fifa will go back to being greyed out.

Never been in a single COD thread on this place/reddit/wherever else you venture to?

Regardless, low effort sequel instead of giving us the full game with the improved engine.
