Use jockey or team mate contain and cover the space in between to see the next pass and intercept. Footballs a lot like chess and against the tougher teams you need to see your next 3 passes. It takes practice but once it clicks it makes for some excellent football

Hold back, let them pass in front of you and pick the opporune moment to tackle.

Or double team every player to stop them passing...

One of them works well, one makes you look like a *******.

It's against the fast passers where I get battered. It's always the same, 3-4 passes in a zigzag with a lobbed through ball over the top.

Just totally beats my defense.

I really don't know what it is but I've just gone totally crap over the space of 2 days. Got to division 3 now I've been relegated all the way back to div 5 and it looks like I'm getting relegated this season to.

Its a mix, with gaps between opponents players just the analogue stick, for sharp sharp turns L1. I have found the best way to use L2is to tap just before you turn, L2 + R2 is very effective as well. You have to practice and get a feel for it.
