From his post he was talking about players who do it with everyone including attackers, not just defenders. 1-2 spamming at any level is just nooby as it basically exploits the **** poor AI reactions to it. If the game is lagging it makes it even easier to do it as controlling your defenders becomes a joke. Nothing wrong with the odd 1-2 when it's going to set you up but players who constantly use it do my nut in, it's up there with lob spam in my books.

nothing wrong with doing a 1-2 with an attacking player in my book, doing it with defenders though is just leaving yourself wide open and not smart.
if someone is closing you down fast you can do a 1-2 without pressing L1 . you don't have to make players charge up the pitch to play a 1-2 against a high pressure opponent.
