The majority of players on the pitch are 'computer controlled', so of course they are defending, just like they are attacking when the opposition was attacking. So errr the computer does most of the work all the time no?
I hassled, pressed and defended against his runs and tackled and cleared the ball. Had I done anything else I would have lost the game heavily.
I play FIFA to enjoy it, I do not use exploits or look to build teams to play particular ways, I build and pick players because I enjoy playing a passing game, on the counter attack against him (and others) my movement and fast, short passing catch people out.
I'm not amazing at FIFA, my resistance to building teams to play or exploit certain aspects of the game keep me from doing 'that' well in Ultimate team but I play for fun, I enjoy playing a defensive / counter attacking way as much as I do dominating possession and pegging teams in their own box.
