FIFA 14

I'm a bit confused as to when I should use jockey, contain and team mate contain.

I hardly ever use contain but I do use team mate contain a lot. Which one tends to be more effective?
 
Team mate contain while you cover the most likely passing gaps is a good way to go, but you need to mix it up a bit or it is too obvious.

Fair enough. :)

I find jockey to be really helpful if a player is about to cross the ball in the box or when going head to head with the player as it will automatically put in the tackle.

Touré CDM is about 140k it seems. I'm wondering if he's really worth the upgrade over Essien CDM.
 
Im using toure again, he seems solid but essien seems to be in a shooting situation far more for me, toure seems better at containing the mid field, essien seems to move forward a bit more.

Depends what you want from/how many cdm you play. I think they are great paired together one moves forward while the other covers.

Any one playing tonight? going to have a few games and try out sif cabaye.
 
Had some of the most frustrating games in a while today, button lag, ball acting as if it's on a piece of elastic, defenders just lunging and completely missing the ball.

Time to come off and play some BF4.

Yaya is a powerhouse for me and excellent in cdm, cm and cam. In cam he gets loads of goals and never gets pushed off the ball. I like cm for him because he gets forward more but hes that good he will easily get back to cover as well

What? What is this madness?

Explain? I genuinely have no clue at all what the above quotes are on about.
 
You get the defender you are controlling goal side of the attacker / tracking the necessary run and then just hold teammate contain so one of your other players tracks them down.
 
What was his team? Some German pace teams are just normal good as well :p.

My Serie A 4231 team from last years FIFA was ridiculously pacey but boy it was good as well.
 
Just had a match against this, sadly he couldn't stand up to Vieri and quit out at 5-3 :)
