Sure mate, at work on lunch so not on futhead etc.. but it is currently:

433-4

SIF Maicon - IF Miranda - SIF Godin - Marcelo
Hernanes - Modric - Song
Hulk - Benzema - David Villa

The 2 CBs are great, both have 90+ interceptions, great all round stats, have a look on futhead!

Tempted, once I have offloaded a few legends to go for Ronnie at LW, but Villa is awesome, might make a spain team with him in!

Happy with the team now, only Hulk on 8 chem but he's fine like that, Hernanes is awesome as always!
 
Really? I've had hi seem so fat catching up to people I didn't think he would and absolutely dominated so many airballs, makes IF Hummels look like a springless shorty!
 
Not spent a penny or any coins on packs this time around but thought "I'll give it a go on one of the double gold packs"

Result - best player: 77 rated Robert ******* Huth!!! :mad:

Surely common sense says EA would try and tempt you into buying more packs by at least giving you one semi-decent player!?!?!

And then the EA Twitter feed retweets some ****-wit with 3 IF's and half of Real Madrid's team in a single pack!!

What an utter waste of time!

Never buy packs. You can go through a million coins and get naff all.
 
Any recommendations for this team?

I've got about 30k in the bank. On the bench I have:

Walcott, Gibbs, Richards, Fernandinho, A. Cole, Terry, Torres

I recently bought Cech but lost almost every game with him in goal, so went back to Hart and for some reason I seem to be doing better now.

I was going to save a few more thousand and get Rooney for CAM.

Any other suggestions?

I'll take a look at Nasri, although I dislike him in real life so it'll be a bit annoying having him in my FUT :p

No problem having quick players in there?

There isn't, people moan for the sake of it, you swap out Eto'o for Carroll you get slaughtered for crossing the ball :p

I personally love Eto'o, he can do everything and I partner him with Benteke who is a unit and can hold the ball up well. It's pretty obvious to have quick wingers as the oppositions fullbacks are going to be 85+ pace 90% of the time. CAM, DM no one notices if fast or not. I like Oscar for his agility and makes really good runs.

It wasn't aimed at you moothead, I just see a general consensus with pace on here and it's pretty unjustified.
 
is it just me or is this one of the most frustrating game ever?

i've assembled a decent side with most players high 80's / low 90's and depending on which way the winds blowing when you start up the console it has a huge affect on the team.

start the console once (when the windows blowing north) and the side lives up to its 80's/ 90's stat level.

Then you turn the console on (when the wind blows south) and your team is totally inept at everything. Decent players can no longer control a ball or pass and players who are lightening quick are suddenly unable to out pace a snail.

Think it's mostly to do with it's connection to lobbed through balls to be honest. Lobbed through balls to Aubamayang all game is just frustrating and boring to play against. I love pace down the wings personally (usually cut back and play it across the middle or shoot, not to cross spam :p) and good passers down the middle so pace isn't too much of a factor there. I had Kroos on the right of a middle three and hated him as he couldn't get in to space. Put Gundogan there and it was much better.

I lost about 3-4 games in a row earlier and I felt like everything was going against me. It's crazy. Fortunately I won a game and broke the losing streak.
