FIFA 14

Tried Tevez out and he was noticeably better at everything than his NIF but workrates ruined him he was always in midfield. Got nearly a million for him so not too bad as he's dropped a lot now.

his best position has always been CAM but I prefer Di Natale there or Marchisio, Guarin or Hernanes as cheaper options.

I'm really struggling with the La Liga team, much more so than the BPL one. Saying that I had TOTS Rooney, Gerrard and Toure who made for a solid mid 3 all very strong and all could score from range, with my La Liga team it feels like I'm limited to Messi or Ronaldo to finish things.

Finally got myself a PS4 and started FUT on it, the game in general and FUT are 100x better than the PC version I've been playing for a couple of years, FUT was that bad I never actually got started and just played seasons. I now know what I've been missing.

Only been playing a couple of days and got myself a solid team. Full of chelsea players but they were ridiculously cheap & easy Chem, the most I've paid is 3k for Ramires & Oscar, the rest were about a grand or less.

Bench has De Gea, Azpilicueta, Adam Johnson, Bobby Zamora, Evans and a couple of randoms. Goal for my first team is to just get a decent team to start with which always has cover to rotate for fitness, Azpili can thrown on LB or RB, Evans can take CB, Bobby Zamora can take ST (got him in my first pack,still scores goals for me). Johnson can take over LM or RM and I generally rotate between Valencia, Jarvis and Johnson depending on Fitness.

All I really need is a CDM and a CAM for cover/rotating, and probably could be doing with a proper LM. Anyone have any suggestions for a couple of cheap options for these positions? Probably will end up with Matic or Essien for CDM. In my first pack I got a LW>LM so a LW or a LM is what I'm after too, I've been thinking Schurrle. I need to buy a card to swap Lampard into CDM aswell but it's fine just now. I'm not a big fan of Hernandez either but the good strikers are out of my reach at the moment.

Just wait till you get to the higher divisions before you question whether it's better. The gameplay itself is better on next gen but kick off glitching and crossing are even worse, since going back to PC I don't think I've conceded from 1 kick off glitch and people generally just play "normally" instead of using every game engine exploit they can find.

Crap because they don't have to exploit the engine to score goals? The only reason console appears harder is because the majority do that and to win you need to outscore them. There's nothing skillful about console players it's just kids watching youtube videos and copying awful styles.

Having played Division 1 on both I can say that it's much more enjoyable on PC. On console it's hard to find a game where someone isn't sprinting down the wings every time they have the ball or kick off glitching every opportunity.

I have FIFA 14 on the PC, the players were woeful who I played against. There wasn't a challenge, I'd rather them exploit the engine and have a will to win rather than just sit there and take the beating.
