Won World cup single player opens packs gets Reus & Mandzukic, I really needed Reus & know me lucky mate wants him bad, I text me mate Yay Reus - No Reply. :p

This. I was in hovering around Division 2 in FUT seasons for the last couple of months, yoyoing in and out of D1 and then all of a sudden I'm back down to D4 and struggling like hell to stay there.

Each game usually goes like this, I start out well making chances but then my opponent get's a goal or two buy cutting in from the wings, crosses or most annoyingly from rebounds. My players feel sluggish as hell. They have poor first touch, passing goes astray or they just don't react when passes or crosses come in. Before long my opponent goes into a 3 goal lead but I manage to get a goal or two back in the end but still lose the match.

Another real annoyance is that I keep getting taken on the counter. Long ball over the top and Etoo or Jovetic latches on outside the box, shoots, scores ... Maybe by default my defensive line is high? But it never seems to be the other way around, where I am the one getting breaks on the counter.
 
The only thing consistent about this game is the amount of bookings i get for non fouls and when its a foul you don't get one. Dominated one guy yesterday but all rebounds went to him and he scored two with the magical 70 yard through ball from his RB with probably 70 passing that just landed straight onto the strikers path..........

passing stat doesn't mean jack for long through balls.

i tried one with fabregas who has 90 passing (WC mode) and he was cack it was 10 yards away from the striker.

i've done better with Gustavo and his mid 70 passing stats.

This is what I meant about long balls. After absorbing pressure, a defender lifts a ball to one of the strikers who always seems to be making a perfectly time run and receives the ball while my defender is backtracking or just plane stops, allowing the striker to sprint away with the ball and more often than not, score.
