Suárez 1 on 1 with my silver goalkeeper and missing not just once a few times :)

this silver team advantage don't seem to happen on friends vs friends matches as i tested it last night and mlapa never scored for the first time in 16 games for me :(

Momentum yes but i just don't think you come across a team that can nullify your silver team. When i played against it last night you had some chances but i still won comfortably. Problem with Seasons is that everyone just spams lob ball to pace with no actually passing football being played.
 
I dunno Rusty on 13 I noticed my team turned crap when I put both SIF Inler and SIF Hamsik in
Worked great with the IFs

On 14 Robben was dreamlike for me but has a 1* left foot now judging by the shots he hits

On some games my entire team seems to have a speed boost and shots ping in goals from all sorts of angles

But most annoying is when most of the team stop playing. No runs. Players watching the ball trickle past them. Inexplicable back passes or through balls to a the wrong player when it's a clear one on one chance. It feels like you are up against the ai as well as the other player. And it's no fun when you get the breaks either. 5-0 in a game where your keeper is superman and your goals have all been long shot screamers or pea rollers is embarrassing :confused:

it don't work in friend invite games, shame really i will win easy :) your passing will stop working and miss the goal by loads :)

mlapa will score on his first shot with Neuer being slow :D

The best players still end up as the best players irrespective of momentum. Without momentum FIFA would be exploited to hell... you'd never touch the ball etc. People would find ways to exploit it more than they do now.

That said I do think the momentum swings go too far both ways. Your team can literally become unusable at times and if you're playing a half decent player it's easy enough for him to take advantage. Similarly if you have momentum your players 'feel' more agile easier to control. For me, the momentum can result in a bad player getting into a game he shouldn't even be in which then winds me up to the point I can lose the game. It just needs tweaking IMO and more importantly explaining so that people can stop the wild conspiracy theories and learn how you lose momentum etc.

I've played with Silver teams and yes I win and some funny things happen but it's no different to my team with 5 TOTS in it.

Half the battle with FIFA is to clean your mind of all kind of conspiracies and just play the game. Once you do that just take it on the chin if something rank happens which results in a goal and move on. It'll happen for you too if you play enough. Law of averages and all that.

The momentum thing is slightly frustrating though because as I say nobody really understands how it works.
 
It is seemingly random, I've had hilarious games where I've not really done anything well and I'm 5-0 up inside 25 minutes. It's so obvious when you skip from a really 'good' game to a really 'bad' one, your players go from being untackleable demigods to poor pub players.

How many coins do you get for winning the WC mode?

I'm in my third final which I'll play tonight. Got d/c in my first one and lost, lost my second one, so really want to win this one. Every team I play again has amazing players, but my team is fairly average in comparison.
