FIFA 14

Not at all. Theres 120 issues and its a tenner for a ten issue trade paperback. Theres a 1-50 and 51-100 complete giant sized for £35 each as well. All comics are worldwide release if they from marvel, image, etc so any comic shop will stock them. I would say you can get up to date for £100 if you shop about abit.

I don't know who is paying £15 for a digital comic! They don't increase in price because theres no such thing as a first printing. Comixology is a good place for digital comics

Been a while but I am sure the walking dead site was chucking new issues out at £14.99, which I laughed at at the time.

Anyway back to FIFA :p

I have added up what I spent on coins since the 20th of Jan and I have spent £76 :eek: I thought it was about £35-40. Bad bad bad!

I moan at the mrs for spending 69p on mimicking cat....hypocrite ammunition for her if she ever finds out.
 
Me & my mate chatted about buying coins/packs & both agreed as Fifa14 is the only game we play it makes sense to spend any gaming money on Fifa. Why buy another game we won't play when we can spend 30 quid & enjoy the game we are playing more.

As for playing, Does everybody else talk/shout/praise & **** off there players when they are playing or is it just me & my mate.
 
As I don't play any more I totaled it up....

I spent £200 on EA points for packs and the best I got truthfully was Mata.
I also purchased around 8 mil coins, lost so much on tax from buying and selling expensive players and selling up and building a new team every few days.

Cole - Sideshow Bob - Kompamy - Walker Back 4
Lloris GK & a ******* fast one an all. Top keeper it's like having an extra defender.

Got subs for all places in the club as well. Teams strong & fast topped off with plenty of skill.

I've tried him.

Cech was better.

Cech / Sirigu / Neuer are the best keepers I've used. Casillas is tragic. I'm using him in my SIF Wes hybrid squad (as I just have to shoehorn TOTY Ramos into every team :D) and he ain't been good so far.
 
Wow what a different Game Seasons is, played some seasons the last couple of days my record is 25-2-2 my FUT record is abysmal in comparison. Not half as much BS going on in seasons and it may have restored faith in FIFA for me for a short while.
 
I played Hundreds of games using Neur in my Bunders team & Yes he is brilliant but for me you cannot beat the speed of Lloris as like I said he is like an extra defender back there as well as a great keeper.
Cech is slow & really slow & he can't seem to stop slow low balls either, I hated him as a keeper in Fifa & I've been a Chelsea fan the last 4 decades.
Lloris all the way for me but like always it does depend on how you play.

Speed is only useful if you're using him as a sweeper keeper. I dunno about you but I love it when people bring their keepers out. It's almost a guaranteed goal except often for the first time the person does it... after then it's either reverse elastico time, rainbow or a simple chip / finesse shot.

Cech is a better actual goalkeeper IMO.

I do wonder about the game sometimes.

I had some free time so got 5 games in

In Div 7 on PC version and soon Div 5 on console.

Played 3 won 3 (comfortably) on the PC.

Fired it up last night and couldn't get a win 4 draws and a loss :(

Very strange is the defence had one point where the ball bounced between me and the opponent and no amount of movement on the LS moved the guy it was like he was rooted to the spot then I only have auto switch on for air balls yet a simple lob switches the player and the guy scores.

Very strange going from 3 relatively easy games to games which were a lot of work to even get a draw. Perhaps the quality of opponent was different but in one game which ended 2-2 the shots on target ratio was 4:1 in my favour yet he scored.

Also had one where lennon was on the goal line and kicked it in his own net..... :mad: I wasn't even controlling him lol

Why Lennon was on the goal line when he's RW :confused:

Another game the AI gave away a penalty :rolleyes: to bring the game to 1-1 in the 89th Minute.

Felt like smashing the controller through the screen. lol:p
 
Played a couple of games last night. Got to say I really am preferring player career/be a pro more now. But still pop into UT for a few games every so often.

Been playing with my "hybrid" with Willian – RVP – Robben up front. I have to say them three are a deadly combo, I really do need to get used to the winger positioning though. I have games that when it works it works extremely well, then some games I just cannot find the wingers at all or they go out too far. I guess that will most likely come down to the opponents formation.

I have been quite surprised at how good RVP is though, he seems to be a deadly deadly target man, he will finish most things with ease especially in the box. Been practising using the fake pass skill move more which is very effective, although I still get times when I don’t hit A quick enough and end up kicking the ball somewhere which is annoying but I guess just need more practice at it.

Which team do you play in seasons?

I usually choose lower league teams as it means I avoid the wide boys with their trick shots in div 10 :rolleyes:

I know what your saying but for me there just seems to be this coming together of 2 of my back 4 & my Keeper that just snuffs out whoever/whatever is coming including chip shots. I especially love it when this meet up happens in the box & my GK is lying under a pile of bodys clinging on to the ball whilst Fifa freak out happens to them all as they get tangled up. :p

Cech for me was Pap & I so wanted him to work well for me. :(

Sorry mate I've not been keeping up with the thread lately, how come you stopped playing?

Did you not get banned from buying 8mill coins? :eek:

OK so tested some more, IF Hart is by far and away the best keeper I have used, and I've used all the top ones. He's made a couple of silly mistakes, but the sheer amount of crazy saves he has made more than makes up for it. Was getting hammered by a mate last night and Hart got MoM every. single. game. Worth every coin :eek:
