FIFA 14

I tried 4231 with BPL and I really didn't like it. That was me though. You could do anything there really.

Nasri, Carzola are both good CAMs. Ozil was garbage for me there. I wouldn't recommend trying him.

Cheers for that, i did look at them too (and have actually had them both before but in other teams/formations). The only thing that was deterring me is their strength and heading (heading not as important really).

That is a great idea, i think ill give that a go.

I play Vucinic (and di natalie) as a CAM in the same formation Seri A team and he has a stunning goals to games record.

I've never had TOTY Ramos but in my personal opinion...for some reason normal Ramos seems a pretty solid card anyway, whereas for me at least, the normal Silva card isn't "that" good compared to last year.....I mean even David Luiz seems way more dominant. However, the TOTY variant seems to give him so much additional strength and makes him a massive aerial monster, and having the pace of a speedy full back helps too! The amount of last ditch tackles.....!
 
Blasphemy. I couldn't decide stats wise between the two of them. Both of them are good for me.

But I'm a Ramos fan so the choice was obvious. You'd be surprised (or not) of some of the messages I get about my club name and the fact I've got blue Ramos. I think the average age of people I get messages off is about 14-15.

You can almost guarantee they're littered with spelling and grammar mistakes so I just correct them until they go away. Better to educate them when they're still in school :D.
 
Decided I'm going to sell out. I had a couple of days break from fifa. Played it again last night, first half I am all over the place clearly dominating. But his keeper was just on god mode I managed to score one goal. Second half, I was again dominating but I could just feel he was going to score the way the ball just kept bouncing to his players how my players just could not even control the ball even when the ball was passed directly too them and I did not even move. His first real attack of the game, Chiellini headed away a ball which then went up in the air bounced off Vidals back which then just happened to fly to his ST right in the box..... my keeper saves it which just so happens to bounce right back to his ST to touch it in. I just sat there in complete disbelief at what happened. I managed to settle the game at 2-2. There is no way he should have won no way in hell.

I give up its pointless.

Did that stuff not happen before you decided to spend money on FUT though?

I'm pretty certain the more you spend and the better players you have the more frustrated it makes you and the more you start blaming the game.

Try just using an OP cheap team and you'll see how less bothered you are when things don't go your way.

My current team isn't a cheap one but it seems to work really well which is surprising as most of the other expensive teams I've had play garbage.
 
Thats the thing though, Yea I have spent some money on it. But this was my basic Serie A team. The most expensive player is SIF Benatia maybe SIF Maicon (who I got in a pack).

Di Natalie
Vidal - Pogba - Marchisco
Constant - Cheillini - SIF Benatia - SIF Maicon
Buffon

It's hardly a really expensive team. Its not like I expect to win either. This team has won me countless games and is really effective at times. But then some times the game just decides screw you and plays like garbage.

Might just go with Wroe2shaw's most OP team in the game squad he put up (got to say that video made me laugh)

Gotze
Elia - Blazawaski
Martinez
Alaba - Boateng - Dante(I think) - Piszchek
Neuer

And just cross spam like a boss. Seems to work for most people I guess.
 
I couldn't play the cross spamming game just to win but each to their own I guess. Would bore the life out of me playing every game just to score headers.

Wroe2shaw is terrible at fifa from what I've seen so it doesn't surprise me he's put together a team like that.
 
adsta I agree with suarez7 I often play 2 kinds of player 1 with long balls to the central strikers or other who span long diagonal balls to the wingers and then try and cross in.... must be boring doing the same thing over and over again - anything for a win?

I play all kinds of style, passing dribbling, keeping ball from opponent, through balls, long balls - much more enjoyable and how the game should be played......
 
Yea w2s does seem to suck at it. But the video had some serious truth to it imo. Why make a really expensive team with good players when you can build this "cheapish" team just spam cross and 9 times out of 10 win.

As you said Suarez I couldn't personally do it. I would just get bored of passing to wings run and spam crosses. But I've come up against a lot of players who just do that. Its horrible to defend against, you know what is going to happen but all it takes is for you to make a mistake once and they get an easy goal. If you try to "build up" play the game engine just seems to crucify you for it.

It makes it frustrating when you have majority possession, you have made more chances had more shots and just in general being the better player and still lose to someone who has had one or two attempts and still managed to win by a fluke cross or stupid ping ponging balls.
 
Will EA ever fix the grabbing issue? Sick of players grabbing my strikers and stopping them from running through.
