As you said Suarez I couldn't personally do it. I would just get bored of passing to wings run and spam crosses. But I've come up against a lot of players who just do that. Its horrible to defend against, you know what is going to happen but all it takes is for you to make a mistake once and they get an easy goal. If you try to "build up" play the game engine just seems to crucify you for it.

It makes it frustrating when you have majority possession, you have made more chances had more shots and just in general being the better player and still lose to someone who has had one or two attempts and still managed to win by a fluke cross or stupid ping ponging balls.

the game is terrible, i had set myself on selling it but pro clubs with mates is a good laugh so i'm keeping it purely for that now.

unless your playing any of the other game modes just sell it whilst it's still worth a lot.

i'm up this year due to packing Messi, that's the only saving grace i can say for UT, the games mechanics and engine have huge flaws in them the game seems to be getting worse year on year, i think they peaked around 11 or 12.

how many players do you know in real life that can play perfect 50 yard through balls with either foot? hardly any yet anyone can in fifa.

how many players do you know in real life that just get the ball and run down the wing past everyone to cross it in? hardly any wingers do that they usually slow the game down and beat the player using a bit of simple skill or sheer out accelerate past them. they don't just run with the ball constantly.

the best one though is CB's defending corners, why are they on the edge of the box or sometimes outside the box? tell me one team on the planet that defends a corner with its CB's nowhere near the 6 yard box? that's been in fifa for longer than 2 years now. why has this major flaw not been fixed? it's as if they have done it on purpose to make it easier to score from corners.

EA are a joke. kaboul who has been plagued with injury and has made just 2 appearances over the past 2 seasons in the league doesn't get a downgrade or made any slower yet other players do. seriously your telling me that a player that has made 1 appearance last season and 1 so far this season in the league deserves to be one of the best CB's in the game?

EA need to employ someone like Neville and Redknapp to make stats up for players. Tell them how to set up players for defending corners, etc. Tell them how football really works whoever is in charge atm obviously cannot play the game in real life at even sunday 5 a side pub league level.

it happens in real life all the time, did you not watch the madrid derby last night?

there is an easy counter for it too.

next time someone is pulling you, keep tapping L2 and see what happens ;)

I play all kinds of style, passing dribbling, keeping ball from opponent, through balls, long balls - much more enjoyable and how the game should be played......

This 100%. I'm not the best Fifa player but I would rather mix it up and at least try and get beat than spam for a win. Just no enjoyment there
 
I'm enjoying my Serie A team at the moment. I don't get the love for Ibarbo though, he hasn't really done anything for me. Balloteli seems a lot better.

For my Liga team...how does Di Maria compare to Navas? I'm currently running a Spanish side, there's nothing really wrong with it, just feel like mixing up. I'd replace Soldardo and Torres with Benzema and someone else but then Navas will have no chemistry.
 
I have really made an effort to learn how to dribble, pass and build up play so i can play good football. I don't skill but that's just because i cant!.

I can understand crosses, lobbed through balls and other stuff that is abused and spammed but it all has to be balanced. i really enjoyed playing a couple of lads on this forum and the game can be quite good as long as your paying someone who plays the game and not just exploits it

Speaking of which, if any one fancys a game im on most of the day.

Will be put into the current game !!!! lol
 
There's not a chance I'd pay the £40 or whatever they're asking for the WC one anyway when 15 will be out a few months later. It was obvious FUT was going to have world cup content, international man of the match cards and a tournament I imagine.
 
GG mate, i wasn't being ignorant i just don't use a mic :D

First time i have played that game mode, it plays nothing like UT. I need to work on my tackling, i struggle with that and closing gaps effectively,

Yeh the first was decent, after that it did feel labored almost.

My keeper should have got man of the match for his performance :D

I thought u really did well at covering me and stopping me making progress...... I often can dribble through people but u covered me well...... the only mistake I could see was u daudled on ball sometimes and I stole and sometimes sloppy pass from kickoff - but overall solid games

did all 3 games feel same to u on smoothness etc?
 
Well I've put Hazard up for sale. Played 10 games with him now and he's useless at LM. Completely invisible, considering he is a H/L he is never in the final 3rd of the field. :rolleyes:

God knows why he is 220k but Taarabt and Young are approx 1% his price and much better. ;)
