no these are completely new thumbsticks, you need to open the controller up and swap them out.

it's a very simple task to do, i did it on 3 PS3 controllers last gen.

there's youtube videos out there that show you how to swap them out, if you want to see how easy it is.

IF Melo was a BEAST, better than Gustavo who I has swapped him out for (normal melo was crap).

Now UP IF Melo should be extremely OP, he should be the new Yaya Toure.

Looking at UP SIF Benatia stats and wow, he will boss anyone, ideally you would want IF Chiellini alongside him.
 
I've been keeping Barzagli with him and he's been perfect, definately the best Serie A pairing I have used.

Thinking of an UPIF Melo & SIF Sneijder 433-4, maybe with a random Falcao striker in there!
 
tried a few UP's last night and this morning, Benteke seems no way near as good, Sturridge seems about the same if not a little worse, Koscielny's ok, not sure if i can say hes any better than his normal though.
 
No one rates Yaya for long shots then? I've scored lots with him now... Just need a bit of space. Blast it!

Also is there anything worth buying from the catalogue? Got about 22k coins.

I pulled Benteke last nght so offloaded him right away, curious to see if anyone else is going to get UPIFs at the end of the month, by all rights, Ronaldo should get one, voted player of the year, with his 94 SIF, surely he should get a 94 UP with a 95 IF, 96 SIF, leaving space for his 97 TOTS card.

I think yaya's all round games quite good, some of the classic kits are nice from the catalogue, thats about it though afaik

When I had him, I only played 2-3 games with him and in CDM position, I felt he was wasted there, he did score a goal but it was from inside the box and he looked like he was very well rounded.

I don't think i tried a single shot with him otherwise since he was in CDM.

I would think he should be good at them since hes probably the most complete midfielder in the world.

Yaya is great. although gets forward a bit too much from CDM at times!

Catalogue wise, celebratios & vintage kits if your main mode is UT :)

I've been meaning to ask. What does SIF mean? Confuses me because it's a term used commonly at work (settled in full - debt collector. :p)

I know the IF bit stands for in form, not sure what the S is?

Is there a difference between IF and SIF cards then?

I've got this. Plays well when I'm not in retard mode. If you're playing badly this formation won't help you though :D

basically when a player is playing well in real life he gets a IF and is in the TOTW.

when a player gets into the TOTW again for a second time he gets another IF which is now his SIF, the SIF is better than the IF.

players can get many IF's i think that Nene guy got like 4 did he not in one year?

usually ronaldo gets 3-4 as well in a year, etc.

it can get confusing with so many different versions, especially when your trying to buy a specific one on the market and retards try selling you an inferior version which has been boosted by a stat card.

i don't think anyone has a TIF yet although I could be wrong (TIF is Third In Form) so if you see TIF Sneijder being mentioned he has gotten another.
