Yeh i get that. just seems some players skill far easier than other players rated the same. Just wondering which stand out as more natural skillers.
Im not always great at expressing what i mean
I think you need to start looking at other aspects of your game and not trying to fix it with squad changes. You obviously have a play style that has reached the end of its life span, either it is something small like for example the way you receive passes/tackle/dribble or not dribble or it is something more fundamental like you overall style, charge and barge, wing play, swarm play ( bombarding the in possession player with as many of yours as possible) or the way you defend/man marking/gap cover etc. Im not criticizing your game play at all mind i'm just saying that spending money in the search of the perfect combo isn't working for you so its more the way you play than who you play with.
Remember it takes games to settle in to a player so changing your play style or formation will take even more. Have you tried a single striker? This gives you the benefit of greater midfield presence and allows for more of a build up play style IMO, do you rely heavily on constant forward attack, do you play a slower pace of game? maybe look to speed things up at least just to create space so you can implement a slower more focused move. if vice versa slow things down.
if you scored more goals with eto'o and jov use them, you know you have a performing pair so then you can concentrate on other things without questioning the usefulness of your strikers.
If it was me i would sell rvp, build a second squad with suarez as a lone striker, use a different formation and practice a total different game play with that.
I agree with everything you say.
It's frustrating because I got to division 3 with good play and I wasn't having a problem with my strikers, I just had some coins and decided I wanted to further 'upgrade.' I now realise I shouldn't have done this because different strikers means adapting to a different style of play and because I was trying to play 'attractive' football with the likes of Aguero, this is where I was struggling and I started to drop points. Therefore getting relegated from division 3 to division 5.
I will for now switch back to Jovetic and Eto as it's clear that this has
worked for me before and maybe it's just that these 2 strikers suit my style
of play. I don't tend to dribble through defenders, I prefer to pass through them and get shots just in or just outside of the box. (Scored most of my goals outside of the box I think).
I don't really want the hassle of making another squad, trying a different
formation would be an idea but again it means taking on a new style of play.
What tends to be the most favoured formation here? I know there is no 'best' formation but I do see a lot of people on here playing with just 1 striker upfront.
What formation would you recommend for a lone striker?
Also, 41212 seems to be the most common formation in FUT14. I think I
see people using it more than any other formation. Why is this formation
so popular? I chose it based on some research and some guides I read for FUT14,the main thing that attracted me to it was that you have at least 2-3 options for passing no matter where you are on the pitch and your players cover a lot of ground.
